Over the Summer, we installed equipment in many new classrooms including several in the new Innovative Learning Classroom Building. In ILCB, we worked very closely on the installations with Avinext’s crew. This new building features several learning styles varying from a 600-seat arena classroom with 8 projectors, to a medium and small arena, standard lecture halls, and collaborative learning spaces: 111, 112, 113, 205, 207, 224, 226, 229, 233, 237. These rooms feature our standard equipment plus many add-ons that vary per room. We’ve also dedicated a brand new Media Center for these rooms, located in room 312.
In the School of Public Health Classroom Building, we upgraded 107, 108, 109, 110, and 111 into classrooms with 3+ projectors and TVs, centered around remote-teaching capabilities. These rooms feature Zoom Room-enabled Cisco machines, 7070 Dell computers and two cameras apiece.
In the Allen building, we installed the IMS standard classrooms with additional large-screen monitors and of course Zoom-capable cameras and microphones. These rooms also have the fast, new 7070 Dell computer model. Our new rooms are 1041, 1055, 1063, 1017, 1110, 1107, 1108, and 2068.
We also upgraded Blocker 110, 121, 148, 160, 163, 164, 166, 169 with our 2020 Fall standard set of equipment: Zoom-capable cameras, 7070 Dell computers, new Wacom monitors, laser Projectors, and Shure microphones.
Finally, we helped facilitate the Classroom Improvement Committee upgrade of the following classrooms: Bolton 003, 006, and 018; and Heep 101, 102, 103, and 123.
If you have any questions about these upgrades or otherwise, see the “About Us” page.
