Over the summer, we installed equipment in many new classrooms in ILCB, SPHC, and ALLN. We also upgraded several classrooms in BLOC and assisted with some CIC upgrades. Click the news title to see more details.

Over the winter break, we installed and updated 20 classrooms in Gilchrist, Allen, AGLS, and Mitchell Physics.
HSTC will add 21 classrooms from the Health Science area to our list of managed rooms.
As a part of our classroom installs this summer, we will be upgrading some rooms to a newer model of computer without a DVD/CD drive.
Our new standard for monitors is the Wacom brand. All new and upgraded rooms will have a Wacom monitor.
All new rooms are due to receive a web-conferencing kit.

We strive to enhance the classroom teaching experience for the faculty and students through the use of multimedia equipment in the Registrar Managed Classrooms at TAMU. Our role is to provide consistency, based on the most common multimedia equipment needs, throughout classrooms at TAMU so that the faculty and students can feel comfortable with technology provided. In order to fulfill this task, IMS installs computers and multimedia equipment, as well as maintains, develops, programs and refines the equipment and systems under their control.
